“Boodh Dadi – The Millet Café”, founded by Dipika Dobhal in 2020, is a heartfelt attempt to revive the lost culinary treasures of Uttarakhand. We serve traditional dishes made from native millets like mandua (finger millet), kulath dal, and pair them with authentic flavors like bhang chutney — all prepared with a touch of nostalgia and a modern twist. Our goal is to reconnect the new generation with the wholesome tastes of their roots — one soulful bite at a time.

A traditional steamed delicacy from the Uttarakhand, Sweet Sidku is made from rice flour and filled with a rich blend of bhangjeera, jaggery, dry fruits like cashew, almond, walnut, peanuts, and raisins. Steamed to perfection and served with a drizzle of pure ghee or local honey, it’s a soulful sweet that bridges nostalgia and nourishment.
